WHO WE ARE
Heilbronner, Inc. is the brainchild of James Heilbronner and his 40+ years of experience as an architect, program manager and president of Architectural Dimensions. After hundreds of projects, he has seen his profession grow in multitudes of complexity, as regulatory agencies and municipalities have inserted an ever-growing roster of project requirements. In practice, this means that architects, engineers and developers have seen their duties and scope of responsibilities grow as well. Heilbronner, Inc. is the vehicle James envisioned to alleviate the ballooning and burdensome responsibilities the world has placed on these professionals.
Heilbronner, Inc. was established in 2017 with the purpose of providing Project Management and Agency Management services to owners, developers, institutions, architects and engineers. The Agency Management services are modeled after the successful formula that James spent years honing as an internal department of Architectural Dimensions. Recognizing the value that a dedicated agency manager provides to projects with the ever-changing environmental, building and zoning laws in California, as well as the increasingly challenging planning and permitting processes in the Bay Area, James wanted Heilbronner, Inc. to be able to focus on providing its services independent from the in-house work at Architectural Dimensions.

Our leadership and team bring ingrained experience and pre-existing relationships and knowledge of the Bay Area’s municipalities. - Current and fluent in code and regulatory requirements.
- A broad, extensive experience to act as a “third eye” on issues and make valuable suggestions.
- Experience in negotiating utility services from companies that, in many cases, act as “design builders” — designing their own improvements and building them.
- Experience in finding alternatives to assist the design team and agencies to find economical and timely solutions.
